Jennell Hawkins (April 8, 1938 - October 13, 2006, b. Jennell Ruth Grimes) was a veteran R&B singer and keyboardist with powerful, impassioned vocals who became famous during the early 1960s. She is best known for her Top 20 R&B hit rendition of the upbeat, Richard Berry-penned "Moments" (1962, first released as "Moments To Remember" - not to be confused with the same-named hit by The Four Lads).
