Jerry Lewis (March 16, 1926 - August 20, 2017, b. Joseph Levitch) was a comedian, actor, singer, filmmaker, and humanitarian, widely regarded as one of the greatest comics of the 20th century. Best known as a recording artist for his Top 10 rendition of the pop standard, "Rock-A-Bye Your Baby With A Dixie Melody" (1956), a song from the Broadway musical, "Sinbad," which topped the Pop charts for Al Jolson in 1918, other hits include "It All Depends On You" (1957).
