Jesse Johnson (b. 1960) is a funk/R&B singer and songwriter who became famous during the early 1980s as lead guitarist of The Time (of "Jerk-Out" fame). Best known as a solo artist for the funky "Crazay" (1986), performed as a duet with Sly Stone, other major hits include "Be Your Man" (1985), "I Want My Girl" (1985), and "Love Struck" (1988), all of which made the R&B Top 10 and crossed over to the Pop/Rock charts.
