Jim Ed Brown (April 1, 1934 - June 11, 2015) was a veteran country singer who began his long career as the leader of the hugely popular 1950s sibling group, The Browns. He had his biggest Pop/Rock crossover success as a solo artist with the tranquil ballad, "Morning" (1970), and his long string of hits on the Country charts also included the chart-topping ""I Don't Want To Have To Marry You" (1976), performed as a duet with Helen Cornelius.
