Jim Gilstrap is a veteran soul/R&B/disco/gospel singer and a prolific and highly sought-after session vocalist with a distinctive falsetto who became famous beginning in the early 1970s backing such top acts as Stevie Wonder and Quincy Jones. Best known for his 1975 solo hit single, "Swing Your Daddy," he performed with Blinky Williams the theme to the TV sitcom, "Good Times."
