Jimmy Boyd (January 9, 1939 - March 7, 2009) was a pop singer and actor from McComb, MS who became famous during the early 1950s. He is best known for the chart-topping holiday classic, "I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus" (1952), recorded when he was 13 years old. He appeared in "Inherit The Wind" (1960), "Brainstorm" (1983), and several other movies.
