Jimmy Holiday (July 24, 1934 - February 15, 1987) was an R&B singer and songwriter with powerful vocals who became famous during the 1960s. He is best known for the intense "How Can I Forget" (1963), an R&B Top 10 smash, and the soulful "Baby I Love You" (1966), which both became his biggest Pop/Rock crossover successes. Holiday's many songwriting credits for other artists include "Put A Little Love In Your Heart," co-written with Jackie DeShannon and Randy Myers, which became among DeShannon's highest-charting songs.
