Joan Jett & The Blackhearts are a highly acclaimed and veteran rock band formed in Los Angeles that became famous during the 1980s. Best known for the hard-driving "I Love Rock 'N Roll" (1982), which topped the charts in the U.S. and many other countries worldwide and became a million-seller, other major hits include their Top 10 cover of Tommy James & The Shondells' "Crimson And Clover" (1982) and "I Hate Myself For Loving You" (1988). Their numerous honors include being inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2015.
