John Gary (November 29, 1932 - January 4, 1998, b. John Gary Strader) was a veteran singer, TV host, and Broadway performer on the musical stage who became famous during the 1960s. Best known for the wistful ballad, "Cold" (1967), which topped the Adult Contemporary charts, other hits include "Soon I'll Wed My Love" (1964) featuring a Bolero rhythmic background.
