Johnny Mann Singers were a highly acclaimed and veteran pop vocal group that became famous during the late 1960s. They are best known for their hit cover of "Up-Up And Away" (1967), which overtook The 5th Dimension's version in popularity on the U.K. charts and won a Grammy in 1968 for Best Performance by a Chorus. The Johnny Mann Singers recorded over 40 albums from the 1950s-1970s and provided backing for such top acts as Johnny Burnette and Bobby Vee.
