Kathy Kirby (October 20, 1938 - May 20, 2011, b. Catherine Ethel O'Rourke) was an English pop singer who became famous during the mid 1960s. She is best known in the U.S. for the original hit English version of "The Way Of Love" (1965), which later became a big hit for Cher.
