Kay Armen (November 2, 1915 - October 3, 2011, b. Armenuhi Manoogian) was a traditional pop singer, songwriter, and actress from Chicago who first became famous on radio in the 1940s. Her best known songs include "The Dreamer" (1943) and "How Sweet You Are" (1943). Her acting credits include the movie musicals, "Hit The Deck" (1955) and "Hey, Let's Twist!" (1961).
