Kim Wilde is a veteran English pop singer, songwriter, TV/radio personality, and award-winning landscape gardener who became famous during the 1980s. Her best known songs include "Kids In America" (1982) and her hit cover of The Supremes' "You Keep Me Hangin' On" (1987), the latter of which topped the charts. She is the daughter of Marty Wilde who, with her brother Ricky, co-wrote "Kids In America" and many of her other top hits.
