King Crimson is a highly acclaimed and veteran English progressive rock band that became famous beginning in the late 1960s. They are best known in the U.S. for the dark and surreal "The Court Of The Crimson King-Part 1" (1970), the title song to the groundbreaking 1969 album that combines rock with elements of jazz, classical, and symphonic music.
