Koko Taylor (September 28, 1928 - June 3, 2009, b. Cora Anna Walton) was an award-winning blues singer with distinctive raw, powerful vocals. She made a splash on the Pop/Rock charts in 1966 with her rendition of the blues standard, "Wang Dang Doodle."
