The Leaves were a garage rock band from Northridge, CA that became famous during the mid 1960s. They are best known for the original hit version of "Hey Joe" (1966), a song that tells the story about a man on the run after committing a crime. This rock classic was covered by many artists, most notably Jimi Hendrix.
