Lee Greenwood is a Grammy-winning and veteran country singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist with a long string of Country hits from 1981-1992, seven topping the charts. He is best known for the rousing and patriotic "God Bless The U.S.A." (1984), which has been featured in a number of movies, political campaigns, and TV ads over the years. This song had a resurgence in popularity during the Gulf War in 1990 and 1991, the 9/11 attacks, and the 2003 invasion of Iraq.
