Linda Clifford (b. 1944) is a veteran R&B/disco singer, actress, and former Miss New York State who became famous during the late 1970s and early 1980s. Her best known songs include her hit disco remakes of "If My Friends Could See Me Now" (1978) and Simon & Garfunkel's "Bridge Over Troubled Water" (1979) as well as "Red Light" (1980), the latter song featured in the soundtrack to "Fame" (1980).
