Link Wray (May 2, 1929 - November 5, 2005) was a highly acclaimed and pioneering rockabilly guitarist and songwriter who became famous during the late 1950s. His best known songs include the powerful "Rumble" (1958) and "Raw-Hide" (1959, with The Wraymen). Rolling Stone ranked him at no. 45 of the 100 greatest guitarists of all time.
