The Lovelites were a female vocal group led by Patti Hamilton that became famous during the early 1970s. They are best known for "How Can I Tell My Mom & Dad" (1970), a poignant ballad about teenage pregnancy that became an R&B Top 20 hit and the group's biggest Pop/Rock crossover success.
