Luis Cardenas is a veteran Latin American drummer and former member of the rock band, Renegade, who became famous as a solo artist during the mid 1980s. He is best known for his 1986 hit cover of Del Shannon's "Runaway." He once held the record for having the world's largest drumkit which he demonstrated on the David Frost-hosted TV show, "Guinness Hall Of Fame Awards."
