Lyn Collins (June 12, 1948 - March 13, 2005) was a highly acclaimed and veteran R&B singer with a loyal following who became a member of the James Brown Revue in the late 1960s. As a solo artist, she is best known for the rousing and funky "Think (About It)" (1972). A long-time favorite among hip hop, R&B, and dance music producers, Collins is the most extensively sampled female artist of all time.
