Lynn Hope (September 26, 1926 - February 24, 1993) was a jazz and blues tenor saxophonist noted for his instrumental remakes of pop songs who became famous during the early 1950s. He is best known for his hit cover of the Walter Gross/Jack Lawrence-penned pop and jazz standard, "Tenderly" (1950), a Top 10 R&B hit which also made the Pop Top 20.
