ABOUT

The Mary Kaye Trio was a pop/easy listening vocal group led by guitarist Mary Kaye, also including her brother Norman Kaye and Frank Ross, that became famous during the early 1950s. A pioneer of the Las Vegas lounge scene, The Mary Kaye Trio were first on the scene in the early 1950s and they performed at various hotels. Best known for the Top 40 smashes, "I Wish I Could Shimmy Like My Sister Kate" (1952) and "Do You Believe In Dreams?" (1954), other hits include their rendition of the pop standard, "You Can't Be True Dear" (1959).
