Maureen Gray (May 10, 1948 - January 7, 2014) was a veteran singer-songwriter, guitarist, keyboardist, and producer with powerful, soaring vocals who, as a child prodigy, gave her first performance at age 5 at Carnegie Hall singing "Steam Heat" from the musical, "The Pajama Game," to critical acclaim. She is best known for the Chantels sound-alike hit, "Dancin' The Strand" (1961).
