Michael Henderson

Michael Henderson (July 7, 1951 - July 19, 2022) was a veteran bass guitarist and singer who first became famous during the early 1970s for his work with jazz great Miles Davis before going solo. His best known songs include the romantic "Take Me I'm Yours" (1978), an R&B Top 5 smash and his biggest Pop/Rock crossover success. He is also the featured vocalist in Norman Connors' "You Are My Starship" (1976).
