Michael Parks (April 24, 1940 - May 9, 2017, b. Harry Samuel Parks) was a veteran singer and actor who appeared in numerous movies and TV series. As a performing artist, he is best known for the Top 20 smash, "Long Lonesome Highway," the closing theme to the short-lived NBC TV series, "Then Came Bronson," in which he starred. He also recorded several albums through 2011 that include "Closing The Gap" (1969) and "Long Lonesome Highway" (1970). His earliest roles were in such anti-establishment films as "Bus Riley's Back In Town" (1965) and "The Happening" (1967). In more recent years, he co-starred in such blockbusters as "Kill Bill: Volume 1" (2003), "Kill Bill: Volume 2" (2004), and "Grindhouse" (20
