Micky Dolenz (b. 1945) is a highly acclaimed and veteran singer and actor who became famous beginning in the late 1960s as the drummer and co-lead singer of The Monkees. As a solo artist, he is best known for "Don't Do It" (1967). His long career in show business dates back to 1956 when he starred in the children's TV show, "Circus Boy" (billed as Mickey Braddock).
