Mike Clifford


Mike Clifford (b. 1943) is a veteran singer, songwriter, and actor from Los Angeles, CA who became famous dring the early 1960s. Best known in the U.S. for the Top 20 smash, "Close To Cathy" (1962), he also had hits in Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Germany, Japan, the Philippines, and Venezuela. He performed on Ed Sullivan and other TV shows, appeared in several movies, and during the 1970s was a member of the cast of the Broadway musical, "Grease."
