Morris Stoloff (August 1, 1898 - April 16, 1980) was a violinist and film music composer who made a splash on the Pop/Rock charts in 1956 with"Moonglow And Theme From Picnic," a Top 10 hit which became gold-certified. He scored hundreds of films over his long career and won three Oscars.
