Neal Hefti

Neal Hefti (October 29, 1922 - October 11, 2008) was a Grammy-winning and veteran jazz trumpeter, composer, and arranger who began arranging professionally in his teens and became famous beginning in the 1940s. His best known works include the music for "The Odd Couple" movie and TV series and for the "Batman" TV series, the theme of which became a Top 40 hit in 1966 on the Pop/Rock charts.
