Nick Gilder is a veteran English-Canadian glam rock/pop rock singer-songwriter and guitarist who first rose to prominence in the mid-1970s as the distinctive high-pitched lead vocalist for Sweeney Todd. As a solo artist, he is best known for the upbeat disco-rock smash, "Hot Child In The City" (1978), which topped both the U.S. and Canadian charts.
