Odia Coates (November 13, 1941 - May 19, 1991) was a highly acclaimed singer who served as a member of The Edwin Hawkins Singers before becoming famous during the mid 1970s. She is best known for her hit duets with Paul Anka that include the chart-topping "(You're) Having My Baby" (1974). She also had a double-sided hit in 1975 as a solo artist with "Showdown/Don't Leave Me In The Morning."
