Paul Carrack (b. 1951) is a highly acclaimed and veteran English singer, songwriter, and keyboardist who served as the lead vocalist for Ace, Mike + The Mechanics, and a number of other bands and became famous as a solo artist beginning in the early 1980s. He is best known for the majestic Top 10 smash, "Don't Shed A Tear" (1987).
