Paul Hyde & The Payolas (aka The Payolas, The Payola$, Rock & Hyde) were a highly acclaimed Canadian rock band that became famous during the early 1980s in their home country for the intense, reggae-styled "Eyes Of A Stranger," from their 1982 Juno Award-winning album, "No Stranger To Danger." They are best known in the U.S. for romantic ballad, "You're The Only Love" (1985) and the powerful and reflective "Dirty Water" (1987, not to be confused with the same-named hit by The Standells)
