ABOUT
Pearl Bailey (March 29, 1918 - August 17, 1990) was a highly acclaimed singer and actress on Broadway and in the movies who became famous beginning in the 1930s. Her best known songs include "Fifteen Years (And I'm Still Serving Time)" (1946) and "Takes Two To Tango" (1952), and she released numerous albums over her long career. She was honored in 1988 with the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
