Thornton James "Pookie" Hudson (June 11, 1934 - January 16, 2007) was an R&B singer who became famous beginning in the early 1950s as the frontman of the doo-wop group, The Spaniels (of "Goodnite, Sweetheart, Goodnite" fame). As a solo artist, he is best known for the romantic ballad, "I Know I Know" (1963).
