Randy Starr is a singer-songwriter and dentist who made a splash on the charts in 1957 with "After School." During the 1950s, he was a member of The Islanders (of "The Enchanted Sea" fame). With Fred Wise, he co-wrote many songs for Elvis Presley as featured in his movies.
