ABOUT
Ray Bolger (January 10, 1904 - January 15, 1987) was a Broadway performer, vaudevillian, singer, dancer, and actor best known for his role as the Scarecrow in the 1939 movie classic, "The Wizard Of Oz." His many hits on the Pop charts included "Dearie" (1950) and "If I Knew You Were Comin' I'd've Baked A Cake" (1950), both performed as duets with Ethel Merman. Bolger re-emerged in 1963 on the Pop/Rock charts with the Christmas Top 10 hit, "L'il Elfy."
