Red Buttons (February 5, 1919 - July 13, 2006, b. Aaron Chwatt) was a highly acclaimed comedian, actor, and TV show host who made a splash on the Pop charts during the early 1950s. As a recording artist, he is best known for the 1953 comedic smash, "The Ho Ho Song"/"Strange Things Are Happening (Ho Ho, Hee Hee, Ha Ha)." He won an Academy Award and a Golden Globe as best supporting actor in the 1957 movie, "Sayonara."
