Richard Burton (November 10, 192 - August 5, 1984) was a celebrated Welsh-born movie star who rose to fame during the 1950s on stage as a Shakespearean actor. He made a splash on the Pop/Rock charts in 1965 with the spoken "Married Man" (1965), from the Broadway musical, "Baker Street."
