Richard Hayes (January 5, 1930 - March 10, 2014, b. Richard Herbert Hayes) was a singer, actor, and later a game show and talk radio host who became famous as a recording artist during the late 1940s and early 1950s beginning in his late teens. Best known for his Top 5 rendition of the Beasley Smith/Haven Gillespie-penned pop standard, "The Old Master Painter" (1949), his long string of hits also includes "Out In The Cold Again" (1951) and "The Aba Daba Honeymoon" (1951).
