Robert Hazard (August 21, 1948 - August 5, 2008, b. Robert Rimato) was a rock/new wave singer and songwriter who became famous during the early 1980s. He is best known for the 1983 hit, "Escalator Of Life," which became popular in the Philadelphia club scene, along with "Change Reaction." Hazard also wrote and recorded a demo of "Girls Just Want To Have Fun" in 1979, later made famous by Cyndi Lauper.
