Roosevelt Fountain (aka Roosevelt Fountain & Pens Of Rhythm) were an instrumental R&B group from Detroit, MI that became famous during the early 1960s. They are best known for the funky "Red Pepper 1" (1963). Led by Roosevelt Fountain (saxophone), other members included Freddy Butler (guitar) and Rudy Robinson (organ).
