Rosanne Cash (b. 1955) is a highly acclaimed and veteran singer-songwriter and the daughter of Johnny Cash who became famous as a country artist beginning in the early 1980s before branching out to other genres. She had her greatest crossover success with "Seven Year Ache" (1981), which became a Top 40 hit on the Pop/Rock charts and the first in a long string of #1s on the Country charts that also include the Grammy-winning "I Don't Know Why You Don't Want Me" (1985).
