The S.O.S. Band (a.k.a. SOS Band; abbreviation for Sounds Of Success) was an R&B/electro-funk group that became famous during the 1980s. They topped the R&B charts in 1980 with "Take Your Time (Do It Right) Part 1," which also became a Top 5 Pop/Rock hit.
