Sam Brown (b. October 7, 1964) is an English female singer-songwriter, composer, multi-instrumentalist, arranger, and producer with a long career as a backing vocalist who became famous as a solo artist during the late 1980s. She is best known in the U.S. for the 1989 hit, "Stop."
