Sammy Hagar (aka the Red Rocker) is a highly acclaimed and veteran hard rock singer, songwriter, guitarist, entrepreneur, and philanthropist who first became famous during the early 1970s as the lead singer of Montrose. Best known as a solo artist for "Your Love Is Driving Me Crazy" (1982), other big hits include "I Can't Drive 55" (1984), "Give To Live" (1987), and "Eagles Fly" (1987), the latter two of which topped the Billboard Mainstream Rock Tracks chart. In addition to a highly successful solo career, Hagar was a longtime lead singer for Van Halen from 1985-1996 and again from 2003-2005.
