Savannah Churchill (August 21, 1920 - April 19, 1974, b. Savannah Valentine Roberts) was a highly acclaimed R&B singer who became famous beginning in the early 1940s when she made her first recordings with Benny Carter. She topped the R&B charts in 1947 with "I Want To Be Loved (But Only By You)" and later had a Top 5 hit on the Pop charts with "(It's No) Sin" (1951).
