Shirley & Squirrely were a cartoon band much like The Chipmunks that began in 1951 as The Nutty Squirrels. This act had its first hit in 1959 with "Uh! Oh! (Parts 1 and 2)" and was resurrected years later as Shirley & Squirrely.
